SC Freiburg Soccer Game

Good morning! It’s Sunday and I see the sun! I love seeing the sun. I am enjoying our trip, but it is a lot, and it’ll be nice to be home after a few days. :)

I love the morning sun on our balcony. It’s too cold to sit out there today because Fall is in full swing, but it’s nice to see. Today Brady and I are going to the little Black Forest town to take pictures, take in the sights, and eat lunch. It should be nice.

Yesterday we went to the soccer game and it was TONS of fun!

We got lunch outside of the stadium first which was fun! I got the pulled pork French fries.

The sun came out which was a pleasant surprise after the rain!!

We enjoyed the game and I got a radler and Brady got a pilsner. We split kettlecorn also. We had a good time, but they did lose unfortunately. When we left and got off both buses that were packing people in like sardines, we walked around a scenic park for a change of scenery, literally. :)

We saw a bunch of keys with initials on them on the bridge. It looked really cool. We also saw some fun animals on our walk also. We saw a hedgehog and some weird looking birds. It was a nice night, lots of people at the game!

Hedgehogs are wild animals in Germany. A couple speaking in German came by us and were talking about how maybe it ran away because it was mad about our team losing. HA!

Later that evening Brady and I went into the grocery store and bought some snacks for dinner since we wanted to eat lighter after all that fried food and beer at the game. People kept stopping Brady to ask if we won the game because we were wearing our hats. Overall it was a lovely Saturday in Germany. :)
