Ramen in Rasttat

Day 8: Today is FRIDAY! Yesterday was day 7 of our amazing European honeymoon adventures. This morning we walked to 5 Senses Cafe and I got a nice croissant with goat cheese and a dirty chair, and of course Brady got kaffee und kuchen (coffee & cake).

I really liked that coffee shop--good vibes!

It was quite delicious with the cinnamon & natural sweetness.

I loved everything about this meal (and their salads are next level).

Yesterday was a rainy day adventure to Rastatt, Germany for a tour of the Schloss Rastatt Castle. We got a private tour in English, mind you, and it was amazing. We learned all about the Family History and it was quite interesting. We took an hour long train ride from Freiburg and we arrived it was raining, but that didn’t stop our fun. We were greeted with the big salmon colored castle and were excited.

It had a cool garden out front of the castle. During the tour I took some pictures of the amazing castle. Pictures don’t do it justice.

Our tour was pretty cool and I loved all the details of the castle.

We had so many good pictures in that place. We then took a little self-guided tour throughout the place.

It was an awesome time. Brady always enjoys history and learning about it so he was intrigued . My favorite part was the tour. We then found a spot for dinner before our train ride home. The restaurant we went to was actually a ramen place, but Google said it was a German spot. We were pleasantly surprised. Best ramen ever!

It was delish! We then took a train ride home (long ride) and stopped at the grocery store. I got some chocolate and a sparkling NA beverage.

Today we will go shopping and get dinner. I’ll write about it later!! :)
